There are some movies that lay out the fantasy of Hollywood and inspire those to seek out the bright lights of the film world. Then there are the movies that aim to show what the Hollywood machine actually looks like, but funny. Such is the case with Joe Roth's 2001 comedic feature, America's Sweethearts. A satire/romantic comedy, the movie follows cinematic power couple Eddie and Gwen (John Cusack and Catherine Zeta Jones) who announce their divorcing. She immediately moves onto another man while he ends up in a mental hospital. The two are forced to reunite to promote their latest movie, while at the same time Eddie starts to fall for Gwen's sister/assistant, played by Julia Roberts.
