Last weekend was Midsummer Screams in Pasadena, a massive horror-centric convention that's usually the place where theme parks finally unveil their fall horror events. Universal Studios was no different, revealing to attendees that Art the Clown would be taking over this year's Terror Tram through the backlot, on top of already announced mazes themed to Ozzy Osbourne, Evil Dead, and more. But it was the weird reveal that "Freaky" Nikki, the deranged and possessed version of the female lead from Curry Barker's debut feature Obsession, would be some type of walk around character at the event that garnered attention. And a big "ugh" from me.
