At this week’s Critics Choice Awards, where director Sean Baker and the film Anora walked away with Best Picture, and after Baker won the DGA award he made a plea in his speeches to bring movies back to theaters. Specifically, during his DGA speech, Baker asked that studios return to a guaranteed 90-day theatrical window before a movie hits VOD or streaming.
