The 13 Worst Movies of 2025

The merits of worst movies of the year lists have been debated ad nauseam. I choose to look at them like my friend, and fellow critic William Bibbiani has described them: a critic can't tell you what's truly great, unless they can also tell you what's utterly terrible. Despite the claims of creatives, critics get into this field because they love movies. They want to champion the movies they love and, yes, tell you to avoid the ones that suck. As I say in my TikTok videos, I want to help you spend your money at the movies wisely. Do you really want to waste $35 on something that's bad?

So this brings us to the thirteen movies below. Some of these failed to live up to expectations, had offensive elements, and were just downright not good or entertaining. We don't begrudge those who enjoyed these movies, but we certainly won't be watching them again. Be sure to drop into the comments and tell us what movies we should have put on here.
