If you saw me on social media, including TikTok last week then you probably heard the first full trailer for Warner Bros. splashy adaptation of Wuthering Heights, directed by Emerald Fennell, dropped. The first teaser felt very Fennell, with its rapid-fire images tied to a future Charli xcx banger. Scenes of fish fingering, horny bread dough kneading, and lingering glances played. It certainly set a tone that felt like a bizarre Gothic glimpse at material Fennell certainly seemed comfortable with.
